Barbara E. Riefberg is a 1981 graduate of Rutgers University School of Law - Camden, New Jersey. Ms. Riefberg has practiced law in the New Jersey area for 29 years, concentrating in general civil litigation, land use and real estate, real estate tax appeals, personal injury, family law and workers' compensation. She has represented clients in land use matters before planning and zoning boards and has experience before many state administrative agencies including the Commissioner of Education, Division of Workers’ Compensation and Division of Pensions. Additionally, Ms. Riefberg has extensive experience in Chancery litigation and appellate practice.

As an associate with a law firm in Cherry Hill for seven years, Ms. Riefberg represented members of the New Jersey Education Association, the largest labor union in New Jersey. She was often asked to speak to union members about a wide variety of legal topics and conducted a number of workshops.

In 1989, Ms. Riefberg joined the firm of Jeffrey I. Baron, P.A. and became a shareholder in 1994. She remained with the firm of Baron, Riefberg & Brennan until January, 2011. During her years with that firm, Ms. Riefberg continued her representation of members of the New Jersey Education Association in a wide range of personal and work-related legal matters. She also has provided a broad range of legal services to a number of business clients
