Barbara R. Riefberg

Of Counsel

Ms. Riefberg is Of Counsel to the firm and primarily handles the firm’s construction litigation, in which she defends contractors and subcontractors in complex legal matters. She also handles many of the firm’s complex products liability matters, in which she defends manufacturers and distributors from strict liability and successor liability claims. Ms. Riefberg is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Ms. Riefberg attended the State University of New York at Albany for her undergraduate education and then went on to graduate from Rutgers University School of Law (Camden) in 1981. She has been in private practice for over 40 years. Her years of practice have focused on civil litigation, estate planning, real estate, family law and workers’ compensation. She also represents members of the New Jersey Education Association – the largest labor union in New Jersey – in work-related and personal legal matters.  Ms. Riefberg has represented NJEA employees before many state administrative agencies, including the Commissioner of Education, Division of Workers’ Compensation and Division of Pensions.

Ms. Riefberg is an avid golfer and active member of Little Mill Country Club, where she competes in Golf Association of Philadelphia matches and other club-sponsored tournaments.
