Jennifer Neilio, Counsel to the firm, has over 20 years of experience in the areas of complex insurance defense litigation, including construction claims, premises liability, personal injury and professional malpractice and mass tort claims. Ms. Neilio has litigated matters in state and federal courts throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is admitted to practice in the State and Federal District Courts of New Jersey as well as the State Court of Pennsylvania and the District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
She has presented at in-house client seminars about the proprietary specifications in construction contracts and New Jersey’s statute of repose and collaborated on the 2013 ABA, “The Fidelity and Surety Law Committee 2013 Mid-Winter Program: The Surety Underwriter’s Desk Book” Delaware and Pennsylvania chapters (9 & 40). Published opinions include, Pannucci v. Edgewood Park Senior Housing-Phase 1, LLC, 465 N.J. Super 403, (App Div. 2019); D&D Assoc., Inc. v. The Board of Ed. Of North Plainfield, 411 F. Supp.2d 483 (DNJ 2006).
Ms. Neilio is a graduate of Wesley College (B.A. 1995) and Widener University School of Law (J.D. 2000). At Widener Law, she served as an executive board member (bluebook editor) on the Widener Law Symposium Journal and a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. She was recognized for her leadership qualities and was awarded the Zelda H. Herrmann Memorial Award and John C. Warrington Memorial Scholarship. She was also a member of the Phi Delta Phi Harrington Inn Honor Chapter.
Ms. Neilio currently resides in Gloucester County, New Jersey, with her husband and two children. She is actively involved with the Sled Stars – a sled hockey team for youths and adults with physical disabilities.
