Nancy Nolan is a partner at Shimberg & Friel and licensed to practice in both the state and federal courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Ms. Nolan’s practice includes defending clients in personal injury, products liability, professional liability and commercial litigation matters, with a focus on defending suits involving elevator accident-related injuries. For over a decade, Ms. Nolan has been primary counsel in the region for a global elevator/escalator company, defending the company in products liability, negligence, and catastrophic injury suits.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Nolan was a partner at a large Philadelphia law firm, where she focused her practice on professional liability defense litigation. She gained extensive trial experience, handling matters through all stages of litigation. Ms. Nolan graduated magna cum laude from LaSalle College in 1983. She then went on to study at Dickinson School of Law, where she was a published member of the Law Review. After law school, Ms. Nolan served as law clerk to the Honorable Lawrence Brown in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
Ms. Nolan is an avid reader and enjoys playing disc-golf with her family in her free time. During the colder months, she spends a lot of her time in the Pocono’s at her family cabin. During the summer months, she enjoys spending time at beach.
